Viga Interactive

Working in both large and small teams across various projects as a hybrid UX/UI designer. I engaged in in-house projects with a number of SMEs as well as being contracted out on a fixed-term basis with large corporate entities. In the projects, I researched and identified problems through stakeholder engagement and discussions, co-design sessions and user interviews. I developed wireframes, high-fidelity designs and prototypes based on the findings and presented these to our clients.

The Challenge

I was asked by Viga Interactive to design and create their website using Wordpress. The website had become outdated and wasn’t giving the users up to date and relevant information.

The Solution

In addition to the clean, simple layout, the website needed to be informative and deliver valuable information. I played a leading role in designing the information architecture of the site and mapping out all the content, ensuring it is easy to consume and most effective for users.

The Approach

We started with user interviews, this helped us discover what the users are looking for. Then I met with the stakeholders to speak about the visual designs. I started with a competitor analysis of other UX companies. I looked at new UI trends to make sure the website was using modern elements that are attractive. Once I had sign off of the High-fidelity wireframes I began to build it in Wordpress. To get the elements that I wanted I used HTML code and CSS for styling.
